What stays on your phone

Your chosen places, recent places and favourites are stored only on your phone.
Your real location is never uploaded and never leaves your phone.

What is sent to us

When you search for a place, the words you type are sent to our server, which asks the OpenStreetMap search service (Nominatim) and returns the result. A search result is kept in memory for up to 24 hours so the same search is not repeated; it is not linked to your account. Your internet address is used briefly to limit how many searches can be made.
If you unlock Pro we receive your account email (and a hashed password) and a purchase record.

Your account and purchases

The app works without an account except for unlocking Pro. To unlock Pro you create a WrapApp account with an email address and a password (stored only in hashed form). Payment is taken by the store you bought from (Google Play or Aptoide) or by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We keep a record of which account bought Pro for this app so the purchase can be checked and restored on a new phone.

Camera	Declared because the app is built on a common app framework that includes optional camera features. This app does not take photos or use the camera.

Location, notifications, foreground service, mock location	The app must be chosen as the "mock location app" in Android's developer settings. It uses location only to show you what your phone reports and to keep a notification visible while a chosen position is active.

Your choices and deleting your data

You can delete the app at any time, which removes everything stored on your phone. To have your WrapApp account and purchase record deleted, email info@creativetechniques.org from the address you registered with. We will delete it and confirm within 30 days. We do not sell your personal data, show advertising, or use trackers in this app.

The app changes only the GPS position that other apps on your phone receive when you switch it on. It does not change your internet address. Use it only where doing so is allowed and does not break another service's rules.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
