What stays on your phone

Your meal history, your own products and your settings are stored on your phone.

What is sent to us

Food searches and barcodes you scan are sent to our server to look up the product.
If you are signed in, your food preferences (allergies, diet, additives to avoid) and favourites are saved to our server so they can be restored on a new phone.
If you unlock Pro we receive your account email (and a hashed password) and a purchase record.

What is passed to an AI provider

If you analyse a meal photo, or use the AI search or health Q&A, the photo or your question is sent to our server and on to an AI provider (Anthropic or Google Gemini). Results are estimates, not exact values.

These providers handle submitted data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Your account and purchases

The app works without an account except for unlocking Pro. To unlock Pro you create a WrapApp account with an email address and a password (stored only in hashed form). Payment is taken by the store you bought from (Google Play or Aptoide) or by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We keep a record of which account bought Pro for this app so the purchase can be checked and restored on a new phone.

Permissions this app requests

Camera	Only when you choose to take a photo or scan inside the app. The photo is handled as described above.
Biometrics	Declared by the common app framework. This app does not use it.

Your choices and deleting your data

You can delete the app at any time, which removes everything stored on your phone. To have your WrapApp account, including any health or preference data saved to our server, and purchase record deleted, email info@creativetechniques.org from the address you registered with. We will delete it and confirm within 30 days. We do not sell your personal data, show advertising, or use trackers in this app.

This app handles health-related information. We process it only to provide the features you use, and we do not use it for advertising or share it for marketing.

Calorie and nutrition figures are approximate. This app is not medical or dietary advice.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
